Children (ages 3 to 12)
A child's photo should capture a sense of innocence, wonder and hope. The bond between a child and parent is possibly the greatest emotion to capture.

Photo sessions with children can be held in our studio at any time or outdoors in the morning or early evening. We portray the innocence of youth in a timeless fashion. A familiar playground, large grassy field, lake or beach all make for great photography locations.

Pointers on dressing for portraits
• Simplicity is key.
• Solid colors are best. Avoid bold or large patterns and bright colors. They take attention away from the face.
• Long sleeves shirts and dresses are recommended. They also focus the attention on the face. Short sleeves are okay for infants and small children.
• In case the photographer decides to portray you in a full length pose, coordinate your attire from head to toe. Be careful when choosing appropriate shoes and stockings.
• Light clothing tends to maximize body size while darker tones tend to minimize size.
• Necklines are always important. A vee-scoop neckline is good if you have a full face and a short neck. A turtleneck or a high neck garment is flattering if you have a longer neck and slender face.
• Everyone should dress in the same style clothing. Do not mix formal and casual attire.
• Do not mix light and dark clothing. Try to keep the tonal range of clothes within the same group.
• It is best to bring several additional choices of clothing to assure a successful portrait.
