Expecting a Baby!
Every pregnancy is special and important! It can be a time of great anticipation and excitement! It is a time of many emotions, when constant changes are taking place in the Mother's body, and the closer she is to delivery the more prominent they are.We have found that many Mothers are proud of how they look and feel during this special time of their lives. Throughout history, artists were commissioned to paint expectant Mothers, and some of the most beautiful paintings in the world are those of the Madonna and Child! Today, professional photographers can capture these same images, taking beautiful and sensitive pictures of the Mother before she delivers, followed by masterful pictures of her, looking lovingly into the face of her infant, gently cradled in her arms.
These portraits can be taken in a studio, but might have more meaning if they are actually taken in the family home, or in any other special location. Sometimes the new Mother is photographer wearing something soft, flowing, and timeless. The infant can be dressed in white, a pastel, or in a gown passed on in the family tradition.
These important portraits will be treasured through time, initially shared with family and friends - eventually passed on to future generations!
If you so choose, each of our sessions (from prenatal, to newborns, to family portraits) can be shot on location.
This allows you to be relaxed in the comfort of your own home, without having to bring your wardrobe. We will do both studio portraits and lifestyle shots around your home! these sessions are a great value.
