The Wedding Reception
The ceremony is over and the party is about to begin. But, you decided you didn't need a professional photographer, what could go wrong with a relative taking photos? For the amateur photographer, the reception can be a little tricky.
If you decide to go it alone, here are the key issues
Low lighting – This is the main cause for poor photos on camears. low lighting causes dark and blurry photos.
Fast movement (aka dancing) – fast movement and low lighting will create even more blurriness on many cameras. When taking a photo of a moving target, many consumer cameras can't focus fast enough and snap the picture in focus.
People standing in your shot – Guests tend to move out of the way for the wedding photographer, but not relatives.
Battery life – With constant flash use, point and shoot cameras will stop working long before the end of the night. Our professional equipment, backup equipment and backup to the backup equipment will keep running all night.
